Tools for Igor Pro* 

We use Igor Pro for algorithm development and image analysis.  You can find out more about Igor Pro at www.wavemetrics.com.

Here are some of the tools we have developed for the windows version of Igor Pro:

GetClipboardImage:  An XOP (Igor plug-in) which lets you capture the clipboard image as a data file (or wave in Igor parlance) directly into Igor.  Check the included help file for more information on its use.  Requires Igor Pro version 4 or greater.

This XOP is provided free of charge.  Terms of use can be found in the help file.

CustomizeXOP:  An XOP (Igor plug-in) which allows for extensive customization of the Igor interface.  This XOP provides the options to: 

• change the name in the title bar of the program window, 

• hide/show the command window,

• hide/show the main menu bar (requires Win2k), 

• hide/show the system menu on any Igor window -- prevents user from closing a panel window,

• create a custom exit function to  bypass the default Igor "remember to save" dialog,

• disable ctrl key menu equivalents -- prevents the user from editing a panel window or accessing the procedure window.

Check the included help file for more information.  Requires Igor Pro version 4 or greater.  Some features work only under Win2k.

This XOP is provided free of charge for non-commercial use.  If you have a commercial application, we invite you to contact us to discuss a licensing agreement.  Terms of use can be found in the help file.

ToolMenu (currently Win98 only):  An XOP which adds a customizable floating tool menu (like the one in Photoshop) to Igor.  Each button or check box executes a custom macro.  Macros can execute immediately or on mouse down or mouse up events (such as when the user clicks the mouse on a graph, or releases the mouse after drawing a selection marquee).  You can also link macros to the arrow keys on the keyboard.  

 This XOP is currently being rewritten to run under Win2k.  Please check back at a later date.
