MiScope® Advanced Lighting Options (ALO)

The MiScope has proven to be more versatile then we ever imaged.  It is currently being used in applications as diverse as aerospace inspection and golf course maintenance.  These new MiScopes with advanced lighting options are more useful than ever before, without reducing portability or easy of use:

  • Easily transported and powered directly from a laptop computer.
  • Use on-site for inspection and documentation.
  • For use in agricultural inspection, entomology, plant pathology, geology, soil analysis, forensics, industrial inspection, metallurgical evaluation, sales, marketing and any other application which requires high magnification field inspection. 
  • Add a GPS receiver to mark images with the precise location and time of capture for reliable documentation.
     

 

MiScope-SW:  A light switch allows external lighting

The MiScope-SW adds a light switch to turn off the built-in LEDs.  This increases the versatility of the MiScope by allowing it to be used with external light sources including side lights, IR or UV lights and a light table.  The MiScope's clear base transmits the light from any external light source, and our LED light options are ideal for side lighting to accentuate slopes and surface textures.  The MiScope-SW can be purchased as part of our MiScope-Pro kit which includes a case and multiple light sources.

MiScope-IR:  A compact and portable IR microscope

The MiScope-IR adds IR LEDs and a three position switch to create a versatile infrared digital microscope. Select white LEDs, IR LEDs, or turn the LEDs off to use external lighting.  The MiScope-IR lets you easily alternate between visible and IR illumination to perform a visual spectral comparison.  Contact Zarbeco to request a specific IR wavelength.

MiScope-UV:  UV-induced Fluorescence Microscope

The MiScope-UV adds UV LEDs for both visible microscopy and UV-induced fluorescence/luminescence microscopy. The three position switch lets you select white LEDs, UV LEDs, or turn all the LEDs off to use external lighting.  From inspection of secure documents and currency to detecting fluorescent minerals, the MiScope-UV is the most portable UV microscope available.  Contact Zarbeco to request a specific UV wavelength.
